Research
My research bridges environmental economics and applied mathematical modelling to assess the macroeconomic consequences of droughts and other physical disruptions in the Polish economy. Input–Output frameworks let me examine direct and indirect sectoral water dependencies and understand how a shortage in one place turns into a cascading economic shock somewhere else. I work with environmentally extended Input–Output models, structural decomposition and path analysis, backward and forward linkages, and Dynamic Inoperability Input–Output Models.
