Industry experience
Parallel to my academic work I have spent five years in people analytics and HR data analysis in global engineering organisations. The two tracks feed each other: modelling teaches me to be careful about what the numbers can support, and analytics practice keeps me close to imperfect data, stakeholders on a deadline, and results that have to be explained to people who do not read econometrics.
